Proposed Amendments to the Bethesda Bible College Act (assented to May 1, 1996) NOTICE is hereby given that petitions will be submitted by Pastor Ronald M. Steinbrenner, President of Bethesda Bible College, to the Lieutenant Governor and the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta at its current Sitting for the passage of amendments to the Bethesda Bible College Act. On September 4, 2009, pursuant to a Certificate of Amendment under the Alberta Business Corporations Act, the name of Bethesda Church Ltd. was changed to Christcity Church Ltd. Bethesda Bible College is a branch of the Church ministry, with the purpose of providing theological instruction and ministry training. The object desired by the petitioner in soliciting amendments to the Bethesda Bible College Act is to change the name of the college from Bethesda Bible College to Christcity Theological Institute, so that the name of the college corresponds to the new name of the Church. Any person whose rights or property are materially affected by the proposed legislation may contact the Legislative Assembly in writing no later than the 15th day following the first day of the first sitting in a year should they wish to make a representation relevant to this application.
